Thanks to all who came out and said good-bye to Inga last week!  She is back home safe with her parents. Last week when Jack let her mom know that we were planning a ride by goodbye....this is what she said.

Dear Jack,

You made me crying, It is great to see how wonderful all you are and it breaks my heart taking Inga away so early. It just does not feel right.  I wish the circumstances would be different and I can only hope they will be soon normal and we can meet and catch up the lost time. Please pass our warm regards and big thanks to all of the Rotary members, we are grateful for all you gave to Inga, especially in this difficult time. We feel privilege that Inga could be part of your community.  We will stay in touch, her exchange year should not end this way. You are all very welcome to visit us in Germany and we hope that we can see you all soon again  - to hug you all without distancing.
The virus obviously has also many positive sites, we realize how small the world is, how fragile we are and how important the other person is. We hope that we all will sort the values correctly and that in the future we all will have the right priorities. The Rotary has them definitely!

We wish you all to stay save over the next time, we will keep in touch. Take care and stay healthy!

THANK YOU JACK!

Izabela

PS. Of course I will let you know as soon as I get Inga at the airport. We will have to spent 2 weeks at home in quarantine, so I hope to get all possible details of her exchange.
We will have very strange Easter holidays, because Helge cannot share with us the quarantine time. So this will be very internet-driven holidays. As probably for the most of the world.
