Dear Rotarians
Each year, our District 6250 offers an amazing opportunity for Rotary Youth Exchange students to take a bus trip to the East Coast. Not only do students visit iconic American locations such as Philadelphia, Washington, DC, New York, Boston, and Niagara Falls, but also a mini United Nations is formed in the bonding friendships created amongst the students from five or six continents.
We would love for Beca to have this once in a lifetime experience. We are writing to request your support to enable Beca to go on the two week East Coast bus trip. In the past three months, Beca has been working to raise funds by selling candy at many of our weekly meetings. In the next couple of months, she will also be working with fellow exchange students at several Brat Barns outside Festival Foods. She still needs approximately $2,500 to make this trip happen. She should register for this by March 31st, so your prompt response would be appreciated.
We are looking for 25 Rotarians to commit to contributing $100 each to enable Beca to go. Of course, any support you can provide is much appreciated. To support Beca in achieving one more of her dreams, please make your check (indicate "Beca trip" in the memo section) payable to the Rotary Club of La Crosse and send it to:
