I made it up to Viola yesterday to deliver almost $20,000 worth of checks to the people of Viola. Everyone was very appreciative of what Rotary had done for their small town. As I was leaving I made sure to let them know that the name of our club was the Rotary Club of Richland County and yesterday it was that for sure.
This couldn’t have been accomplished without the help of many: The Rotarians in the La Crosse area for having the vision to put on the Fight the Flood event. The Rotary Works Foundation for managing the applications, Patrick for processing all the applications for the 4 clubs in the area, and our other Rotary Club Presidents for being out front with the people that were truly affected by the flooding.
