Our District Conference Committee worked together to host the Rotary 6250 District Conference in La Crosse to celebrate District Governor Bill Hoel's year. Thank you to David Amborn the District Conference Chair who lead the committee this past year, holding monthly meetings and organizing every detail. We had a number of area Rotarians on the Committee (don't want to list names and leave someone out)....thank you to all. Special thanks goes out to our Rotary District Office at Morgan Data - Heather, Megan and Gail. Working together they provided interesting plenary sessions, breakouts, wonderful fellowship, good food, and great speakers. We video taped the two plenary sessions, heavy topics (Human Trafficking and the Opioid Epidemic) and guest speakers. We will share the links when they are available. Thank you to all who sponsored the District Conference....your sponsorship helped us to host and bring in excellent speakers; to our Humanitarian Committee who organized a "Support the Survivors" collection for New Horizons/Human Trafficking with the support of the La Crescent and Caledonia Rotary Clubs; to those that volunteered over the weekend and to all who attended.
We would also like to thank the Radisson Hotel and La Crosse Center staff for all their work and help over the weekend.
