La Crosse Area STAR Program

The STAR (Specialized Training for Action in Rotary) Program was created in 1976 by the Rotary Club of El Paso, Texas.  New Members were required to attend a month breakfast meeting every month except in December.  Among the topics covered were the Four Avenues of Services.  The Rotary Foundation, Rotary International programs and club history.

Our STAR program is slightly different.  We intend to provide programs on the Seven Areas of Focus, The Rotary Foundation and the Rotary Works Foundation, along with other aspects of Rotary.  Each of New Member is expected to attend the next five meetings following your orientation.  All new Rotarians are considered a member of STAR for their first year.

Meetings are held at the Parenting Place, 1500 Green Bay Street, in La Crosse.

We will meet the second Tuesday of the month at noon.

No meal provided. Bring your own lunch or have one delivered if you wish.
