Fundraiser Overview

2026 makes the 8th Annual Musky Challenge.

From June through early October, Rotarian Al Louis will be fishing Lake Vermilion in Northern Minnesota.  This year, he will fish with his fishing partners, both named A.J., as well as multiple sponsor guests and fellow Rotarians.

Did you know? In general it takes about 10,000 casts to catch one musky! 2025 was a record year with 102 Musky caught in the boat, nearly breaking the all time record set  the previous  year (2024) of 111 Musky caught. AND an unheard of previous 4 year total of  356 Musky caught in Al's boat

What will 2026 yield?  A new record caught? Maybe a new state record which currently sits at 58.25. On July 11, 2023, Al caught his PERSONAL BEST at 55".

Al is challenging fellow Rotarians and community members to contribute to the annual event by a flat dollar pledge.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE 2025 RECIPIENTS!
