Join fellow Rotarians in supporting the Hmong Cultural & Community Center's Hmong New Year celebration by serving in admissions roles throughout the event.
Volunteers will help welcome attendees and assist with ticketing and money handling, allowing Hmong community members the opportunity to fully enjoy and participate in the celebration.
This is a unique chance to build relationships across cultures, live out Rotary's commitment to service, and put the Four-Way Test into action by asking, "Will it build goodwill and better friendships?"
As an added benefit, HCCC will make a $2,500 contribution to our club in recognition of our service, making this both a meaningful volunteer opportunity and a fundraiser for Rotary.
Note: Volunteers must be 16+ and have valid DL to drive golf carts (which apparently may be part of the job). All volunteers receive free parking & entry for the day/event they're working. (You will also be well fed!)
