United States of America
This year is in honor and memory of David Amborn.
From July 24 through August 29th, for every musky Rotarian Al Louis has in his boat during a fishing trip at Lake Vermilion in Minnesota, he will be donating $100 to the Al’s Musky Challenge fundraiser. He will be fishing Tuesday & Thursday nights for four hours each. Did you know? In general it takes about 10,000 casts to catch one musky!
Al is challenging fellow Rotarians and community members to pledge a certain amount or  pledge money per fish put in the boat (the yearly average is four fish and has been as low as 1 total).

Al's goal is to smash last year's fundraising which raised $41,000! Al and his family have pledged $4500 to get the ball rolling. The Lake Havasu Rotary Club (of which Al is also a member) has agreed to match up to $1,000.
