County Health Department Update
The COVID-19 level for La Crosse County is measuring at a HIGH level at this time.
Per current CDC guidelines, when a county is in high COVID risk level, wearing masks indoors is encouraged.

According to the CDC's guidelines, individuals in communities at this level should stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccines and get tested if you have symptoms, but wear a mask indoors in public if you choose. However, additional precautions may be needed for people at high risk for severe illness. People may choose to mask at any time. If you have been exposed to COVID-19 or test positive, we ask that you follow the CDC guidelines for quarantining/isolating
This Week: Alex Attardo, La Crosse Community Theater

Alex’s first appearance at LCT was in Leading Ladies as Butch in 2012. Alex later performed in both LCT’s Thoroughly Modern Millie and Jesus Christ Superstar. Alex has worked as an actor, director, choreographer, stage manager, assistant house manager, box office associate, and designer at many theatres in the Coulee Region: Viterbo University, University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, Pump House Regional Arts Center, Appleseed Community Theatre, and Aquinas High School.

In 2017, Alex graduated from Viterbo University with his Bachelor of Science in Theatre Education and moved to Orlando, Florida, to work at Walt Disney World. Alex held a variety of roles within the Walt Disney Company with his most notable being Youth Education, Guest Relations, and Housekeeping Management.

Alex has been back in the Coulee Region since July 2021 working as LCT's Director of Education and Outreach. There is so much that goes on behind the curtain before audiences arrive to see a show at the La Crosse Community Theatre. His presentation, "Backstage Magic," will pull back the curtain on how theatre is created, curated, and fully realized for our community.

Last Week at Rotary: Carol Abrahamzon, Mississippi Valley Conservancy's 25th Anniversary
