STAR - Specialized Training for Action in Rotary....you will meet other new Rotarians from the area. We will provide programs on the Avenue of Service, The Rotary Foundation, and the Rotary Works Foundation, along with other aspects of Rotary. This is a great time to ask questions you may have about our club or Rotary in general. Hope you will be able to join us.
New Member Proposals
The following community members have been proposed to become members of our club:
  1. Lisa Archer (Leadership position at Mayo Clinic; proposed by Eva Marie Restel. Lisa works to bring a large group of people to work towards the best possible healing conditions - not unlike our group of Rotarians working together towards a better world for all.)
  2. Jeremy Pues (Cappella Weddings and Events, Sales; proposed by Matthew Curtis. Jeremy recently worked at the WI State Juvenile correction Facility helping troubled youth. He has a great passion for serving the community, especially troubled kids.)
According to club procedure, applicant names are to be published in our weekly email bulletin for two weeks.  If there are no objections from the current membership, these applications will be approved.  Please contact the Club Administrator if you object to these applications by January 3, 2024.

Happy New Year!!!

And welcome to the very First Week of RI’s Month of Vocational Service. The Rotary Foundation Trustee Chair, Barry Rassin reminds Rotarians and friends of TRF to
give more in 2024 because the needs are limitless; not only that, since “The Rotary Foundation is an excellent steward, you can be confident that your gift will make a difference, whether it’s in polio eradication, literacy initiatives, peace education, or any other area in which we excel…In 2024, resolve to share the Foundation with others. The Foundation is too great to keep to ourselves. Spread the word during your fundraisers and events. Let the public know that The Rotary Foundation plays a significant role in everything we do, including in our many partnerships. Anyone can support the Foundation, even people who are not in Rotary…Whatever you decide to do in 2024, commit to keeping our Foundation in your plans. I can’t wait to hear about all the great things we will accomplish this year.” (Rotary, January 2024: 56).

Hopefully, Rotarians in 2024 will continue to make the world a much better place for everyone.
