Our program this week is "UWL "Hear Here" Project..presenter Ariel Beaujot.  “Hear, Here,” is a historical tour in which participants can stop at marked spots in the city and use cell phones to hear stories of people tied to the spots. In downtown La Crosse, orange street-level signs with the Hear, Here logo will show you where stories are located. With your mobile phone, dial a toll-free number on the signs to access first-person accounts of things that happened in the exact location where you stand.

We will also welcome our Students of the Month.  Central High School:  Grace Von Ruden - January; Gillian Manske - February; Allison Kramer - March.Logan High School: Oscar Li – January; Laura Kammer – February; Jenna Lee – March.  Aquinas High School: Jenalee Emmert - January; Dylan English – February;Jacob Leinbach - March.

Our program was Artspire La Crosse 2015.  Artspire La Crosse is an all-inclusive event that unites the audience with the wealth of visual and performing artists from La Crosse and the surrounding area. Artspire La Crosse 2015 will be June 12 & 13th.

Friday, June 12 at 5:00 pm Artspire will kick off with an opening reception for Artspire artists and sponsors. At 6:30 pm, a street dance will be held featuring La Crosse Jazz Orchestra. At 8:00 pm, a headlining musical performance will be held on the main stage in Pump House/Piggy’s parking lot. Alcohol will be served inside the Pump House, and patrons will be invited to carry drinks outside!

Saturday, 10:00 am-5:00 pm there will be an art fair, showcasing the works of over 35 artists. Artists will also have their work for sale, presenting the community a great opportunity to support and purchase local art. The main stage will be a hub for nonstop performing arts, including: music, dance, theater, and storytelling. Downtown businesses will also be invited to participate

Saturday night, Artspire grounds will stay open, and Downtown Sound Music Festival will take over! The Pump House will reopen it’s bar, and once again, patrons will be invited to carry their drinks outside. Downtown Sound performers and times to be announced!
