This Thursday, Rotarian Greg Reichert will be giving his classification talk.
Greg serves as the Vice Chancellor for University Advancement and President of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse UWL Foundation.
After a successful 12-year career in economic development, Greg moved into the higher education arena at his alma mater, Northwest Missouri State University. As part of a small fundraising team, they successfully completed the school's first-ever capital campaign, exceeding $42 million. He was then chosen to lead the advancement efforts at Avila University in Kansas City where they set school records in fundraising in four out of the five years he was there. Greg joined the advancement team at UW-L in 2010 and has helped launch the $15 million Share the La Crosse Experience Scholarship Campaign.
Members always enjoy hearing about their fellow Rotarians.
Classification Talk: Some have described the classification talk as a talking business card. But it is so much more than that! You can share vital and interesting information about your family, your interest and your business. The talk is not meant to embarrass you, but to let us get to know you as you want us to. You are not expected to present yourself as a professional speaker. Most of us are not. Contact Sarah Arendt-Beyer Program Chair for the year if you would like to give your classification talk.
Thanks to all who attended our meeting last week and offered their feedback on YOUR club. This was a great health check to help us maintain our club' s health and preserve its value for YOU and the community. President Tami Woods will compile the notes from each table and present to our board on Monday, January 13th. We will then report back to the club at an upcoming meeting and through our newsletter.
