Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 2 to be part of our Tree Planting Project and Year End Picnic at Camp Decorah. This is a collaborative project with Rotary After Hours.
The first part of the day we need volunteers to help plant up to 200 white pine saplings. Fun outside activities will start around 11:00 and end by 3:00 (options include; kayaking, zip lining, and fishing) The picnic lunch will be from 11:30 to 1:00 and is only $5 per person.
Come to plant, come to picnic or just come to play outside. All Rotarians and their families are invited to attend.
We have a number of Rotarians planting their own trees...we ask that you take a photo of yourself with the tree(s) so that we can have a slide show on our web site and submit to Rotary International. Thanks to Jack and Ann Haase for submitting their photo.
Thank you to Sheila Wieser and La Crosse Memorials Inc. for the stone that will be dedicated at the Scout Camp on June 2, 2018.
Thanks to Rotary Works Foundation for $1,000 to help fund the tree project. YOUR donations making a difference in our community.
