We also practiced breakout rooms with Zoom.  It was a great experience.    Breakout rooms will give you a chance to meet in smaller if your committee or fellowship would like to meet prior to one of our meetings you would go into a breakout room.   We did have a few issues with some members not having a breakout function on their screen.  We will need to research more on that but the host of our meeting will be able to put you in a breakout room until the issue is resolved.  Members felt it will be a great way to socialize, network and do committee work in smaller groups!  We are all learning so be patient!!   One note is that the chat function in a breakout room will NOT follow you back to the main Zoom screen.  If you would like to have a breakout room prior to our meeting, please contact Rob Palmberg to set that up for you.
Breakout rooms are sessions that are split off from the main Zoom meeting. They allow the participants to meet in smaller groups, and are completely isolated in terms of audio and video from the main session. Breakout rooms can be used for collaboration and discussion of the meeting.
