LAST WEEK AT ROTARY
Last week at Rotary our program was  iFeed. The iFeed project, a food drive put on by area student's Interact clubs last November.  Our future leaders of the world gave us their heartfelt presentation and was WOW so inspiring.  We are in good hands with these young leaders.  Their hard work ended with $54,718 meals packed for Niagara and 30,212 food items collected for the Hungry Task Force in La Crosse.  They are hoping to make this an annual event.
They are now receiving international recognition.  Five area Interact clubs worked together to put on the food drive and then they documented their hard work by making a video. That video was submitted to The Rotary International Interact Video Award.  Out of 87 different entries from 25 different countries in the world, "iFeed" was chosen as the Best Video in 2015. The judges said they were impressed by the groups creativity, dedication, teamwork and ability to activate and entire community in service. Interact said plans are in the works for another iFeed food drive. If you are interested in watching the entire video, click here.

We also had our "Students of the Month," more young leaders of our community as our guests. From Central we recognized: Peter Lor, Grace Olson and Benjimin Strittmater.  From Logan: Tayanna Washa, Matthew Erickson and Gran Simmons. From Aquinas: Morgan Merfeld, Amber Koch and Anne Cunningham.

COMMITTEES
COMMITTEES...We encourage all members to join at least one committee.  Committees help further the work of Rotary in our community and internationally.  Being part of a committee is the best way to get to know members, enjoy personal rewards and contribute to the success of Rotary.  This is a great opportunity to become involved and active.   Committee work is where you really get to know fellow Rotarians and share the fellowship that makes our club so special.  We have twenty-two committees and will have chair persons from each of these committees give a brief report at our upcoming meetings.  Please feel free to contact committee chairs or Lyn if you have any questions.

We have a Committee Page on our web site - committee descriptions, committee lists, sign up form, etc....click here to view.   Please review the lists....if you are not on a committee or would like to switch committees....please fill out the form and return to Lyn.
